AB Medium Base (Autoinducer Bioassay Medium / ATCC Medium 2746), 250g

AB Medium Base (Autoinducer Bioassay Medium / ATCC Medium 2746) is a microbiological culture medium formulated for use in autoinducer bioassay systems and microbial communication studies. This medium provides a suitable base for preparing ATCC Medium 2746 when supplemented with the required additives.

Formula (per liter):

• Sodium Chloride – 17.5 g

• Magnesium Sulfate – 12.3 g

• Casamino Acids – 2.0 g

• pH 7.5 ± 0.2 (at 25℃)

Preparation Instructions:
Dissolve 31.8 g of the medium base in 970 mL of distilled or deionized water. Warm gently until completely dissolved. Dispense as required and sterilize by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 minutes. After cooling, aseptically add 1 vial of AB Medium Supplement (Autoinducer Bioassay Medium / ATCC Medium 2746) to every 97 mL of medium. Mix thoroughly before use.
