7.5% Sodium Chloride Broth – Selective Enrichment for Staphylococcus aureus (250g)
7.5% Sodium Chloride Broth is a selective enrichment medium widely used for the isolation and homogenization of Staphylococcus aureus from food, clinical, and environmental samples. The high salt concentration (7.5% NaCl) inhibits most competing microorganisms while allowing the selective growth of staphylococci.
Key Applications:
Enrichment of Staphylococcus aureus from food, cosmetics, and water samples
Selective homogenization in microbiological testing
Use in public health laboratories and food safety research
