
Starch Ammonium Salt Medium 250g for Actinobacteria Selection and Enumeration
Starch Ammonium Salt Medium is a high-quality dehydrated culture medium designed for the selective isolation and enumeration of actinobacteria. It is extensively used in microbiology laboratories for research purposes and microbial studies.
Composition per liter:
Soluble Starch: 10.0 g
Ammonium Sulfate: 2.0 g
Dipotassium Hydrogen Phosphate: 1.0 g
Magnesium Sulfate: 0.5 g
Potassium Chloride: 0.5 g
Ferrous Sulfate: 0.01 g
Agar: 18.0 g
Final pH: 7.7 ± 0.1 (25℃)
Preparation:
Weigh 32.0 g of the medium and suspend in 1 L of distilled or deionized water. Heat and boil until fully dissolved. Dispense into containers and sterilize at 121℃ for 15 minutes. After sterilization, mix well and store for future use.
