Yeast Extract Peptone Broth Medium (YEP Medium) is a nutrient-rich liquid medium designed for the cultivation of Agrobacterium rhizogenes and other related bacterial strains. The combination of yeast extract and peptone provides essential nitrogen compounds, vitamins, and growth factors, while sodium chloride maintains osmotic balance for optimal bacterial growth.

Formula (per liter):

Preparation Instructions:

1. Dissolve 25.0 g of the medium in 1 liter of distilled or deionized water.

2. Warm gently to aid dissolution.

3. Dispense into appropriate containers.

4. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 minutes.

5. Cool to room temperature and store until use.
