GYCA Medium – 250g for Cane Smut Fungus Testing
GYCA Medium is formulated for the detection of Cane Smut Fungus, providing the necessary nutrients for optimal growth. It contains Yeast Extract, Glucose, and Calcium Carbonate, all critical for the cultivation and examination of Cane Smut Fungus, and is designed for effective use in microbiological testing.
Formulation (Per Liter of Medium):
Yeast Extract: 5.0g
Glucose: 5.0g
Calcium Carbonate: 40.0g
Agar: 15.0g
Usage Instructions:
Dissolve 65.0g of GYCA Medium in 1L of distilled or deionized water.
Stir and heat the mixture to boiling, maintaining for 1 minute to fully dissolve the agar.
Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes.
After sterilization, shake the medium well and pour into plates to solidify. Store as needed.
