Diamond’s Trypticase Yeast Extract Maltose Complete Medium Base (TYM) is a specially formulated medium for the cultivation of Trichomonas vaginalis and other parasitic microorganisms. This nutrient-rich medium contains Pancreatic Digest of Casein, Yeast Extract, Maltose, L-Cysteine Hydrochloride, and essential vitamins, providing a complete growth environment for parasitic organisms. It is ideal for laboratories and research facilities working on parasitology.

Instructions for Use:
Dissolve 38.3g of TYM Medium Base in 900ml distilled or deionized water.
Adjust the pH to 6.0 using 1N HCl.
Boil the solution to dissolve completely.
Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes.
After sterilization, shake gently to ensure uniform distribution.
Cool to 45°C and add 100ml of inactivated animal serum (incubated at 56°C for 30 minutes), mix well, and the medium is ready for use.
Storage: Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Shelf life: 3 years.
