Composition (per liter)

  • Casitone (Casein Peptone): 12.5 g

  • Yeast Extract: 5.0 g

  • Mannose: 2.0 g

  • Sodium Citrate: 5.0 g

  • Manganese Chloride: 0.14 g

  • Sodium Chloride: 5.0 g

  • Potassium Phosphate: 5.0 g

  • Magnesium Sulfate: 0.8 g

  • Ferrous Sulfate: 0.04 g

  • Tween 80: 0.75 g

  • Final pH: 6.9–7.2 at 25℃

Preparation Instructions

  1. Dissolve 36.2 g of medium in 1L of distilled or deionized water by heating gently (some insoluble material may remain, shake before use).

  2. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 minutes.

  3. After sterilization, allow to cool, and use as required.
