Medium Composition (per liter)

• Enzymatic Digest of Casein: 7.5 g

• Enzymatic Digest of Animal Tissue: 7.5 g

• Corn Starch: 1.0 g

• Dipotassium Phosphate: 4.0 g

• Monopotassium Phosphate: 1.0 g

• Sodium Chloride: 5.0 g

• pH: 7.2 ± 0.2 (25℃)

Preparation Instructions

1. Dissolve 2.6 g of GC Broth Base in 50 ml distilled or deionized water.

2. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 minutes.

3. Cool to room temperature.

4. Aseptically dissolve 1 vial of sterile hemoglobin powder in 50 ml sterile water (with glass beads if needed), then add to the sterilized broth.

5. Add 1 vial each of IsoVitaleX supplement and VCN selective inhibitor, mix gently, and the medium is ready for use.
