Starch Hydrolysis Medium is a dry powder culture medium containing 3% soluble starch, designed for bacterial starch hydrolysis assays. This product supports the detection of amylase-producing bacteria such as Lactobacillus, Streptococcus, and Corynebacterium diphtheriae in microbiological testing.

Shelf Life: 3 years at room temperature.
Usage: Dissolve 63g in 1L distilled water, sterilize at 115°C for 30 minutes, shake well to prevent sedimentation, and pour into plates after cooling to 50–55°C. Optional sheep blood can be added post-sterilization for specific tests.
