Dual-Purpose Medium for Glucose Fermentation & Motility Testing
This semisolid agar with bromcresol purple indicator simultaneously detects acid production (color change) and gas formation (fissures) in bacterial glucose metabolism studies.

Key Features:

• Low agar concentration (3g/L) for optimal motility observation

• Pre-mixed glucose (10g/L) for immediate fermentation

• Room temperature stable (3-year shelf life)

• Clear purple-to-yellow transition at pH shift

▶ pH: 7.4±0.2 (25°C)
▶ Preparation: 31g/L → boil → sterilize at 121°C/15min → solidify upright
