Properties: White crystalline powder or prismatic crystals; anhydrous monoclinic 片状 crystals when precipitated from ethanol. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, insoluble in ether. It is strongly alkaline, and its aqueous solution can absorb carbon dioxide from the air. Solubility in water: 148.7 g/l (20°C).

Use: For research use only. Not for other purposes. (The following uses are for reference only) Substrate for nitric oxide synthase, which can be converted to citrulline and NO. Induces insulin secretion through a NO-dependent mechanism.

Storage: Store at room temperature.
